C Arscott 02Cathy and her husband Frank moved to Melksham in August 2014 to begin their ministry within the Wiltshire United Area after serving for ten years in the Launceston Methodist Circuit where Cathy looked after six country chapels situated in West Devon and Cornwall. Before her call to the ministry, Cathy worked as a school secretary and previously to that worked as a music tutor in a primary school.

Cathy and Frank have four married children, ten grandchildren and a dog called Sam. They enjoy ballroom dancing classes at The Manor School in Melksham and spend a lot of their spare time exploring the Wiltshire countryside and taking Sam on walks along the canals. Music has always been a shared interest too – Cathy plays the piano and Frank plays the trumpet.  Cathy trained with South West Ministerial Training College and completed her Theology Degree with Exeter University in 2005 when she was ordained as a Methodist minister at Tavistock Methodist Church.
